You can not be zeroed like so many other games, and there is no shield required, it doesn’t even exist. No troop losses or resources lost at all. And when you get attacked nothing bad at all happens, the other player just gets victory points for beating you. And that only happens when you choose to attack a stronger player. Joined an active alliance and was very pleased to see even the lowest strength player (me) in the alliance could contribute significantly to alliance quests and earn significant rewards! And the PvP is not deadly, worst that happens is your troops take 45 minutes to recover and heal for free, or you can spend gems to speed that up. After playing a week I can’t say enough good things about this game. Nice deal offering the first month subscription at 80% off a few battles into the game. Happy to support the developer with my first months subscription. I’m really enjoying leveling up my characters. Time limit for bonus victory is sometimes hard to get, and some boss battles have to wait until you’re stronger so it’s not too easy.
